Research into an Inspired Workplace has demonstrated that "world class companies" (where HR best practices have been implemented) are more likely to have twice as many engaged employees than their world class competitors contributing to their superior performance. They estimate the cost of disengagement to U.S. businesses to be in excess of $300 billion annually!
The Energy Leadership Institute has recently found a link between work satisfaction factors and a leader's energy (E-Factor). Higher E-Factor scores have shown almost a 4X increase in engagement.
