HR Analytics are not those usual metrics most companies use in a reactive way to report on people related issues like
turnover, days to fill, tenure, cost per hire or employee engagement to name a few. HR Analytics take a deeper dive into what's really happening in order for the organization to improve decision management around human capital initiatives. More and more Boards are beginning to demand information around talent initiatives so the timing is right.
HR Analytics have nothing to do about HR nor do they refer to basic metrics. Rather they are all about looking at the organization through a different lens while linking human capital initiatives to enterprise wide business outcomes.
